The eActros LongHaul and its integrated solutions for all aspects of the vehicle have a clear goal: to provide a profitable, sustainable and reliable solution with harmoniously balanced drive power in the future.
Thanks to its new powertrain, the standard eActros LongHaul can travel around 500 kilometres without needing to recharge. Megawatt charging will enable the batteries to be charged from 20 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes. All this makes the eActros LongHaul perfectly equipped for most plannable long-haul transport applications.
With the eActros LongHaul as an integrated solution, you can benefit from eConsulting, Mercedes-Benz Uptime in the repair and maintenance contract, Fleetboard Charge Management, and many other tailor-made services. The eActros LongHaul is expected to be ready for series production from 2024 – get a sneak peak at bauma!

A glimpse into the future: the battery-electric Arocs prototype.
The battery-electric Arocs prototype, built as a cement mixer, provides a glimpse into the future. The highly integrated combination between the vehicle and the body shows that battery-electric, emission-free transport can also be used in the construction industry. Instead of the classic PTO, the battery-electric Arocs prototype has a high-voltage interface from which an efficient electric motor draws its energy for the mixer unit.

The eActros 300 is more than just a truck. It's part of an integrated solution, one which also includes eConsulting and innovative, digital solutions, as well as the traditional Mercedes-Benz services. This truck boasts a highly efficient ePowertrain, giving it a range of up to 300 kilometres3006. Thanks to the greatly reduced noise emissions, it also gives drivers and passers-by alike a whole new level of comfort. As part of an integrated eMobility solution, with the eActros 300, you also benefit from comprehensive eConsulting, which includes route analysis, incentive management and electro-specific digital services like Mercedes-Benz Uptime, Charge Management and service contracts.
eActros in construction supplier transport – Charged & Ready.
Locally emission-free, quiet and comfortable, the eAtros 300 is already on the road as a series-production vehicle in distribution transport – and will soon open up possibilities in construction transport, for example as a tipper system and skip loader. With an efficient driveline and a practical range, it can master even the most challenging of tasks. The plug-and-work one-box solution ZF eWorX provides the power for the bodies.

What are the best arguments for eMobility?
- Mobility and logistics with a secure future, for example where there are driving bans in urban areas.
- Sustainable mobility with locally CO₂-neutral travel and completely CO₂-neutral operation if powered by 100 % green electricity.
- Increase in overall efficiency – electric vehicles provide far higher drive efficiency than diesel.
- Reduce noise emissions and take advantage of special rules for electric trucks, such as delivery periods in pedestrian zones
- Improved driver comfort and better driving experience in electric trucks.
Will the all-battery-driven electric truck hold its own next to the hydrogen-driven truck?
- Battery-driven vehicles will be suitable for a number of different purposes, just as hydrogen-driven vehicles will, so they will complement each other.
- We don't believe in replacing battery-driven trucks with trucks powered by hydrogen-based fuel cells. Battery-driven vehicles provide the highest energy efficiency of all alternative drive systems, whereas fuel-cell vehicles exhibit high operational flexibility.
- Battery-driven vehicles are more suitable for smaller load weights and for shorter distances.
- Fuel-cell drive will tend to be the preferred option for heavier loads and longer journeys.
- Both technologies have key advantages for their respective area of application and that will continue to be the case in the future.

How can I charge my electric truck?
- Generally, running charging infrastructure at your own depot is the best solution for the eActros and its haulage tasks.
- Mercedes-Benz Trucks will work out and propose an optimum charging infrastructure concept, together with selected partners, ideally suited for the requirements of the freight business and optimised to suit each individual customer.
- These charging infrastructure solutions are neatly integrated into the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks ecosystem, and our partners offer comprehensive services from advice and installation to maintenance.
What does Mercedes‑Benz Trucks offer regarding charging infrastructure?
- We will recommend the suitable hardware to our customers. This includes the charging station and cables, and also an energy management system, with the help of which the stations can be controlled and managed either directly or remotely.
- Also, a selected network of partners will support customers with installation and maintenance of the charging infrastructure at the customers' locations.
How long does it take to install the charging infrastructure?
- This depends on a number of different parameters, e. g. the size of the e-fleet, the driving profile of the vehicles and connection of the depot to the electricity supply.
- Time perspective: The process can take from a few months to more than a year.
- Recommendation: Get involved in the electrification of your fleet early on.
What is the life cycle of the charging infrastructure?
- That depends on the manufacturer. In most cases, ten years is the standard life cycle of direct current charging stations.
Can I use the charging infrastructure to charge other vehicles, e.g. vans and cars?
- The eActros has a CCS2 connection and thus conforms with the general standard for charge connections in the passenger car sector. Cars and vans which are equipped for charging with direct current via a CCS2 connection can therefore be charged at the eActros charging stations.
